DONAGHADEE YFC

Donaghadee Youth for Christ exists to see an unreached generation of young people across Donaghadee be transformed by the love of God, and reach their full potential.  Young people finding Jesus, following Him and joining His family.

We have weekly contact with approx 120 children & young people across the following groups most weeks;-

• Monday (3-4pm) – fantastic opportunity in our local primary school to run their Scripture Union with 30 P4-7 boys & girls attending

• Monday (4.15-5.30pm)  – Year 8 & 9’s group – contact with 32 young people each week for fun, games, groupwork & chats working through any thoughts, feelings & struggles they were experiencing during the week & pray for them.

• Tuesday (3-4.30pm) – P7’s Kids Bible Bizz –  fun Bible club – contact with 20 boys & girls each week

• Wednesday (3-4.30pm) – P6’s Kids Bible Bizz –  fun Bible club – contact with 12  boys & girls each week

• Friday (8-9.45pm) – Year 9+ group –  contact with 25-30 teenagers each week for lots of fun, games, groupwork & chats

From Easter to the end of June each year our focus with the P7’s turns to supporting them with “Its Your Move” style lessons & groupwork helping prepare them for the move to secondary school, sharing how Jesus has a plan for their lives & wants to walk with them through this exciting new stage.

Summers are a busy time also with lots of fun activities, day trips, centre based programmes, sports & games at local parks, kids clubs in the local council housing estate & when possible we welcome summer outreach teams from organisations such as Exodus.

*If you would be interested in registering your child/young person in any of the groups please do get in touch with us via email.
