ARDS PENINSULA YFC

The YFC Pioneer project launched in February 2019 following years of really positive engagement with young people through the Nomad cage football resource.

With some vital support from a number of local churches, the project has continued to run cage football while also establishing a number of pop-up drop in centres in Carrowdore and Ballywalter while also developing the Place2b youth club in Portaferry. These ventures have become a solid feature on the Peninsula while work has also been carried out in Greyabbey and Portavogie, with schools work, detached work and after schools activities also being piloted.

We are so thankful to the local churches who continue to support us as well as the team of volunteers who work in the 3 established locations. We look forward to the ongoing development of the project as we reach further and deeper and grow our team too!
